Robert Spitz

Robert Spitz was discovered for the cinema in 1982 by Marianne S. W. Rosenbaum, and from 1985 he appeared in films by Herbert Achternbusch. Engagements took him to the Residenztheater, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, the Schauburg, the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Münchner Volkstheater, among others. He has appeared in numerous cinema and TV films - most recently in "Unter Verdacht", directed by Johannes Grieser. As a director he has worked at the kleines theatre Landshut, the Halle 7 Theatre, the Friedrichshafen Music Theatre and the dasvinzenZ Theatre in Munich. His current works include "land - eine annäherung" (development: Cornelie Müller & Robert Spitz; director: Cornelie Müller; premiere 2015 at Schweren Reiter in Munich), "Wer Hunger hat, soll Vögel gucken" DA 2018; "Herbst der Untertanen" 2018, as well as "Das Feld" 2019 DA, director: Robert Spitz 2018 at dasvinzenZ Theater. Since 2017 he has been working in the artistic direction at dasvinzenZ Theatre in Munich.
