The theatrical work of Bertolt Brecht is unthinkable without musicality: unimaginable a "The Threepenny Opera" (1928) without the compositions of Kurt Weill or "Die Mutter" (1932) without the music of Hanns Eisler. In the tradition of song recitals at the Berliner Ensemble, Tilo Nest and Constanze Becker, together with the Fine Arts Big Band, develop a concert with some of the most important songs from Brecht's work in completely new big band arrangements.
